Chula has performed halftime shows for NFL playoff games and appeared on national TV. She also was featured on the cover of the January 2002 issue of Dog & Handler magazine.

Owner-handler Tim Geib began playing disc sports in college and went on to participate in eleven Disc Golf World Championships. Tim and his wife Ann got Chula as a puppy. They chose an Airedale for their all-around versatility, not thinking about getting a Frisbee dog. As Chula grew she loved fetching tennis balls and one day Tim tried her with a Frisbee and that was it. Many of Chula's special tricks were taught during short, five-minute tricks for treats sessions in the living room. They also perform at many Humane Society and Rescue benefits.
